The best fantasy managers pound the waiver wire every week. Gotta eat those veggies. Here's a shopping list to get you started. 🛒
Priority Pickups 🛻
Audric Estimé, RB, Broncos (4%): He still hasn't caught a pass in the NFL and there are no parades for a 53-yard game. But Estimé appears to be pushing all the other Denver backs out of the way, and any waiver-wire back with this much projectable volume needs to be prioritized.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Saints (2%): His entire career has been about regular busts and the occasional boom, but we can't leave a 3-109-2 game sitting on the wire. Cleveland's defense has struggled on the back end, so MVS could pop again in Week 11.
Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers (38%): He doesn't have the ceiling of Jauan Jennings, but Pearsall is part of the Circle of Trust. He ran routes on about three-quarters of the passing plays last week and his touchdown was suitable for framing.
Russell Wilson, QB, Steelers (22%): He gets the Ravens this week, and everybody throws on Baltimore. Don't make it complicated if you don't have to.
Packers D/ST (29%): With the struggling Chicago offense on the schedule, this unit is a screaming add wherever you can get them.
Medium Leagues 🥤
Jameis Winston, QB, Browns (9%): Not sure how much longer he starts, but a revenge game against New Orleans sounds like fun.
Gus Edwards, RB, Chargers (17%): We know the limitations here — Edwards is an older back who doesn't catch the ball. But he's also the clear RB2 on a winning team that loves to run, and J.K. Dobbins managers might want insurance.
Bo Nix, QB, Broncos (33%): His floor has been far more sturdy than anyone had reason to expect, and there's plenty of green on the upcoming schedule.
Quentin Johnston, WR, Chargers (41%): He's scored in back-to-back games and as much as the Chargers love running, the next four weeks present possible pinball games (Bengals, Ravens, Falcons, Chiefs).
Deep Leagues 🔬
Dawson Knox, TE, Bills (1%): Dalton Kincaid has a knee injury and the Kansas City defense has been leaky against tight ends all season.
Alec Pierce, WR, Colts (4%): Michael Pittman Jr. might not play this week and Joe Flacco remains the Indy starter, so we can look deeper for an Indy sleeper. Adonai Mitchell is also viable in those deep formats.
John Metchie III, WR, Texans (1%): He popped all night against the Lions, and Houston might still have a sizable role for him even with Nico Collins close to returning.
